I turned up the brightness and contrast. I also added pixelation.
Final Mat Photo-

Five Step Critique
Step 1: Observe
Step 2: Describe
I see a tan, male deer in the foreground. It is facing sideways, with its head facing the left. In the middle ground there is a green dinosaur directly behind the deer, with its mouth open. The dinosaur is reflecting a shadow to it's left. They are both standing on a tan rock. In the background there are green and brown trees. It is printed on 5x7 glossy paper. It is framed with a black mat board.
Step 3: Analyze
In this photograph, color creates movement. The contrasting colors of brown and green help your eye move through the photo. You look at the bright brown deer first and then your eye moves to the bright green dinosaur in the middle ground. In this photo color creates unity. This connection can be seen through two halves of the photo. The bottom half has the brown deer standing on the brown rock. In the background the top half the green dinosaur and the green trees create unity.
Step 4: Interpret
The mood of this photo is supposed to be funny. It is supposed to seem that the dinosaur is coming up behind the deer to eat it. But, it is funny because the deer and dinosaur are toys, so they cannot truly harm each other. The purpose of this image is to make people laugh, because they are toys recreating something that may have happened before.
Step 5: Evaluate
I like this photograph because it makes me laugh. What went well was the position that the deer and dinosaur were in. What didn't go so well was the lighting. I feel that I didn't use the light the best way.
